 Hotel El Manglar is proudly managed by three Costa Rican brothers, who are pleased to offer you a unique, enjoyable and memorable experience during your holidays.  

 

Our story in hospitality began in 2004, when we opened the Mi Casa Hostel in Costa Rica's capital, San Jose.  After six successful years, we expanded to the beach paradise of Playa Grande and opened Hotel El Manglar (Mangrove Hotel). 

 

It was a dream come true to have the opportunity to share the beauty of one of our favorite places in the world, the Parque Nacional Las Baulas (Leatherback Turtle National Park).  Here, we love to show guests the amazing surf and sunsets, surrounded by turtles, monkeys, parrots, iguanas and more. 

 

An appreciation of this beautiful place, combined with experiences in hospitality and travel all over the world, gives our team at El Manglar a great understanding of guests needs and expectations. Everything we do is guided by giving guests the opportunity to experience the pristine Costa Rican beach life. With sunshine and surf, plus peaceful places to relax and recharge under the palms, El Manglar is the perfect place enjoy nature and the beauty of life with family and friends.
